What should I bring with me/buy during the first days?

In the dormatories there will be internet but you need a lan cable and a router.
In your dorm there may be no kitchen stuff (pots, pans, plates, forks, spoons and so on), so make sure that you will have something.
Also you may want to consider taking a pillow and a blanket with you – may come in handy.
Inform yourself about the mobile phone contract. There are prepaid models offered by blau or aldi talk as well as very cheap contracts which can be cancelled every month like maxxim.
