How much in details will I spend living in Bonn?

The amount of money that you need per month ranges from 400 to 800. The monthly expenses:

• Usually for a single room provided by Studentenwerk you will pay 200-300 euros
• Around 60 euros you will give for the health insurance.
• Also don’t forget the study fee ~230 euros per semester (includes ticket for buses and regional bahns/trains in the NRWF).
• The rest is a private matter of how much you like to spend. One meal in Mensa costs around 2,6-2,8 euro (meat component + potatoes/french fries + salad). For details see the Studentenwerk website.
